With COVID-19, Proper Balance Becomes Part of the Work

By all measures, Working Solutions efforts were a success. As the initial COVID spike died down, so has the education company’s needs, with Working Solutions no longer servicing this account. Elsa is proud to have played a key role on it, leading the company’s first and last chats with the client.

This client was an interesting case study for Working Solutions and for Elsa. While it is headquartered in Boston, the client does much of its work from India.

“There were cultural differences and somewhat of a language barrier that we needed to work through, she said. “At the same time, India locked down completely during COVID-19 (which still carries on).

“Indian people were not allowed to leave their houses, and food and groceries were delivered to them by government personnel.” Working Solutions offered the company a perfect way to maintain its operations.

Work + Life

What now for Elsa? Her next stop will be on a client program that serves the elderly.

“I am so pleased with the Working Solutions work-from-home business model that I’ve recruited some agents into the company,” she said. “Most people don’t know these opportunities exist.”

Elsa spends her spare time with her kids. She is active in the PTA, and both her boys are in the Boy Scouts. Her family also spends a lot of time in the outdoors.

Before starting her career, Elsa attended the University of Georgia, earning a degree in business. She also had the good fortune of hearing locally based bands like R.E.M., the B-52s and Hootie and the Blowfish in bars and clubs in Athens.

Not a bad experience in school or in life.
