Ellen knows a lot about helping people. In fact, it drives her work, every day.
Ellen has been with Working Solutions since 2013, bringing over 40 years of customer service experience with her. Those decades of commitment to providing quality, friendly customer service shine through to this day. As Ellen says, “I love to help people and I will go out of my way to make sure they get the help they need no matter how small or large.”
Even in challenging moments, Ellen does not give up. Her mantra is one of perseverance, backed by her knowledge and confidence in customer service. “The words ‘can’t’ and ‘quit’ are not part of my vocabulary,” she reports.
Although Ellen came to Working Solutions with a rich background and a lot of knowledge, she has used that same perseverance to further improve her skills. We offer our network of independent contractors opportunities to gain new skills and industry knowledge. Ellen has taken full advantage of that, noting that continuing education seems to be one of the best tools for success.
The education program is phenomenal! No agent is left behind, there is always help available.
The friendships, culture, and support of our virtual network means a lot to Ellen, too. She notes, “I love the mutual trust and friendship among all the agents and coworkers. We work a lot of time together, and we all have each other’s back. It’s a fun place to be!”
We believe that the best customer care comes from people who feel good about what they are doing and empowered to be the best they can. Ellen exemplifies that, and enthusiastic, caring agents like her are the backbone of our network. We care about all our agents, and our agents care about one another, along with their customers.

“I don’t have to worry if emergencies pop up because of the flexibility of this job. Less worry and less stress equal productive work!”
Meeting a wide variety of customers and agents is a perk of the job. Because our agents work from home, they hail from all over the country. For those that encounter Ellen, she often surprises them with where she’s actually from.
“Customers ask me what part of the South I’m from.” She quips, “I tell them Southern Illinois!”
Of course, as dedicated as Ellen is to her work and her joy of helping others, she does take some time off. When she isn’t improving the world with her customer service, she loves to sew, and cooking is a passion.
