20 Work-from-Home Companies That Are Hiring
For Working Solutions, it’s validation three times over. Citing a Forbes story, Glassdoor blogger Emily Moore lists it among the top companies for work-from-home opportunities, referring to a FlexJobs 2017 remote jobs report.
Moore writes these companies, including industry leaders such as Amazon and Hilton, are in the vanguard of modern businesses that enable workers to perform their jobs “whenever they feel the most productive.”
But unlike many companies named on the FlexJobs list, Working Solutions uses independent contractors—not employees—who work as on-demand contract center agents all across the United States.
Long before remote become a trend, chief executive Kim Houlne founded Working Solutions on a virtual business model more than 20 years ago. The company provides organizations with U.S.-based agents for sales, service and tech support.
“Back then, and even more today, the idea of having a workforce that scales to demand is only logical,” said Houlne. “Experience shows, these workers bring new levels of flexibility and responsiveness to any business.
“And that’s especially true these days. Take retailers, for example. There are thousands of store closings occurring this year. Now, juxtapose these closings against increasing demand for more online, customer care. A remote workforce easily fills that gap.”
