Seven Years Strong: Monique’s Journey in Remote Customer Service with Working Solutions
First, let’s meet our PRO
Monique has been with us a long time and is a valued member of our senior care program. When she is not logged in, her life looks a little different than most. She lives in Tennessee, where she and her husband manage a small cow farm and several Airbnbs. With so many commitments outside of Working Solutions, we’ll learn how flexibility and community help her balance work and life.
Why She Chose Working Solutions
Monique’s path to Working Solutions started with a referral from someone she trusted. And seven years later, she’s still with us! Monique shares that her favorite and most valued aspect about working with us is “absolutely the flexibility”.
When asked three words to describe Working Solutions, she joyfully says “I love it”.
Monique’s Typical Day in a WFH Customer Service Job
Monique approaches her remote role with the same professionalism as any traditional job.
One misconception she often hears is that working from home is easier or less demanding. “That you don’t work hard,” she says. “You still have to be focused, have the right environment, and get your work done first, just like any other job.”
Making a Difference for Customers
For Monique, the most rewarding part of her work is supporting people during important moments in their lives.
“You’re there to provide a service, and that’s the most important thing,” she shares.
How Flexible Remote Work Changed Her Life
Remote work gave Monique the ability to show up for her family when it mattered most.
“I moved,” she explains. “I had a mother that needed assistance, and being able to work remotely allowed me to move to another state and still continue working.”
