PRO Spotlight: Meet Margee

Today, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Margee, a long-time PRO whose journey highlights exactly what makes this community so special.
A Multi-Program PRO
Margee has lent her skills to several Working Solutions programs over the years, including the popular Intuit TurboTax program, a federal benefits enrollment program, and a global travel and hospitality program. Each program has given her new opportunities to grow, but what’s remained constant is her genuine desire to help people.
For Margee, the most rewarding part of the work isn’t about pushing products or racing through calls.
I like being able to help people without having to pressure them to buy something.
That simple yet powerful motivation guides the way she approaches every customer interaction.
Why Working Solutions Feels Different
Many independent contractors choose Working Solutions because of its reputation for flexibility and professionalism, but Margee points out that there’s even more to love.
Working Solutions is more organized, communicates with me well, and has great education for contracts.

A Day in the Life of a Working Solutions PRO
On a typical day, you’ll find Margee at her desk, focused on helping callers find the resolutions they need. Some calls are straightforward, while others require more guidance and patience. One of her proudest moments came when she helped a customer set up QuickBooks.
When helping someone set up their QuickBooks and they see how simple everything will be for them, that’s when I know I’ve really made a difference.
Moments like these remind her why she chose this path in the first place.
Flexibility That Truly Matters
For Margee, the benefits of remote work go far beyond convenience. Living with a disability, she relies on the ability to set her own schedule around doctor’s appointments and therapy sessions.
I am disabled, so making my schedule around all of my therapy and doctor appointments is a big plus for me.
This level of flexibility gives her peace of mind, allowing her to balance health, personal life, and work without compromise.
Clearing Up the Myths About Remote Work
People often assume working from home means multitasking — folding laundry, watching TV, or running errands in between calls. Margee corrects this misconception.
What people misunderstand is that [they think] we can go do other things while working. That’s not true. To do this work well, you need to be focused and present.
Her perspective highlights the professionalism required to succeed as a PRO, even from the comfort of home.
What’s the Biggest Piece of Advice for New Agents?
Looking back on her journey, Margee has one key piece of advice for anyone just starting out:
Ask for help and don’t be shy about it.
It’s a reminder that while PROs work independently, they’re never alone. The Working Solutions community and support system are always there to lean on.
Life Beyond the Headset
When she’s not assisting customers, Margee enjoys a quieter, more down-to-earth lifestyle. She spends time in her garden, tends to her chickens, and loves getting lost in a good book. These hobbies bring balance and joy to her life, complementing the meaningful work she does each day.
