This is one of the most in-demand work-from-home gigs. Experts are projecting the number of positions open in 2022 to grow to 361,700. The national average hourly wage for these roles is $18.51.

Graphic Designer

Graphic designers make an average of $24.33 per hour, and there are expected to be around 23,900 jobs opening for graphic designers in 2022. To obtain one of these work-from-home jobs, you need education or experience in graphic design. You might get certification quickly, and without much time, so it could be worth looking into doing this to get a position in the field.

 

Information Security Analyst

Information security analysts help keep security breaches from occurring on a company’s computer system. In 2022, you can expect around 16,300 jobs to be available for an information security analyst position, and this number could increase by 33% over the next ten years. Registered Nurse

These roles are somewhat new to the work-from-home pool of jobs, with the number of positions dramatically increasing since the pandemic began. In 2022, there are expected to be around 194,500 work-from-home registered nurse job openings. On average, work-from-home registered nurses get an hourly wage of around $38.

 

Speech Pathologist

Another job that’s new to the work-from-home pool is speech pathologist. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, more remote speech pathology positions have opened. Experts expect about 15,200 new speech pathologist positions to be created in 2022; this is a great way to make money from home if you have the proper education or experience to obtain one of these jobs. This is one of the higher-paying, most in-demand work-from-home jobs on this list, with an hourly wage typically around $44.26.

 

Software Developer

The highest paying position of all the most in-demand work-from-home jobs is software developer. The average hourly wage for these roles is $55. It’s projected that there will be around 189,200 work-from-home positions available in 2022 for software developers. These roles are highly specialized and require a specific background and education.

 

Translator

If you are bilingual, you are in luck. Translator roles are expected to grow to 10,400 in 2022. The average hourly wage for being a translator is around $21.85. The language with the most open job opportunities is Spanish.

 

Virtual Administrative Assistant

This year, this is expected to be the second most in-demand work-from-home job, with around 195,100 anticipated openings. The average hourly wage for this position is $28.74.

 

Web Developer

There are 17,900 new web developer jobs projected to be created in 2022, so if you have experience or training in this field, you should check out work-from-home jobs that are available. You can make an average of $32.98 per hour doing this work.
