Working Solutions and our PROs

Working Solutions is a leading provider of at-home, customer-service jobs. We work with thousands of contact center agents (our PROs!) throughout the United States and Canada and always have opportunities for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer care and experiences.

Since 1996, we have led a network of independent contractors, all working from home as customer service agents, to deliver premium customer care and sales for businesses of all shapes and sizes.

We know that culture matters, and happy agents mean happy clients. That is why we strive to create a vibrant work culture that includes a uniquely supportive community for our remote-based agents and a great home-office for our corporate team.

Working Solutions was founded in 1996, building on steady growth that continues to this day.

First, we do not proactively reach out for interviews or offers to people that have not applied via our online application located at https://jobs.workingsolutions.com.

We do not interview through Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts, Skype, Telegram, or Facebook. We do not ask applicants to purchase gift cards or ask for personal information (such as bank account, Driver’s License, or credit card information.)

We do not send emails using gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com, or any other non-Working Solutions domains. Legitimate email communications sent by Working Solutions will end with either @workingsol.com or @harver.com.

Finally, we do not use domains ending in net, biz, site, online, or other domain extensions, aside from com. All Working Solutions websites and email use com.

Please log in to the Vyne applicant portal using your email and the Agent ID you were provided by email. If you do not remember your Agent ID, please click “Forgot Agent ID” in the login page.

If you are a PRO who is currently/recently active on program, please access the Vyne here.

Earnings Details

As an independent contractor, your earnings are based on productive minutes—that means you’ll earn money for each minute you’re actively assisting customers. This includes time spent on live calls, chats, or handling customer interactions, but doesn’t count idle time or breaks. Essentially, the more efficiently you work, the more you’ll earn. Programs range between $.25 per minute and $.31 per minute. Some PROs may be paid a set amount per program. Most programs have a minimum of at least 30 minutes built in.

Financial incentives are also available on various programs that increase the per productive minute rate. Plus, you can work for multiple programs. To receive your funds, you can choose from no-fee direct deposits to debit cards or bank accounts or select the Wingspan debit card for seamless access to earnings.

Working Solutions partners with Wingspan to pay our PROs (https://www.wingspan.app/for-workers) providing fast, flexible payment methods. Earnings can be received as a no-fee direct deposit to your bank or debit card, or Wingspan offers a wallet and banking card that provides access to your funds 24×7 on nights, weekends and holidays.

Since Working Solutions customer care PROs are independent contractors, we do not offer traditional benefits such as paid time off and health insurance. However, Wingspan offers benefits for contractors including 24/7 Teledoc telemedicine.

Additionally, there are other many benefits for becoming a Working Solutions PRO:

  • Work from home
  • No commuting hassles
  • Schedule your own hours
  • Work when it’s convenient for you
  • Gain experience in different industries
  • High pay rates
  • Bonuses and incentives

PC Scan Application Details

Our PC scan is designed to ensure that your computer meets the minimum requirements necessary for the work you will be doing. It checks your system’s memory, storage space, and Internet connection speed, among other specifications. Rest assured, it does not access your personal files or sensitive data.

The PC scan is quick and efficient, typically taking no more than a few minutes to complete. You will see a progress bar on your screen, and we will notify you as soon as the scan is done.

Security is our highest priority. We only check your system specs — we cannot access personal files. Your information is encrypted and protected.

Please refer to the other FAQs first to self-diagnose the error. If you are unable to solve the issue you are experiencing, contact a computer technician, since every applicant’s computer is different.

No. We require a PC scan for all PROs every 30 days. This step verifies you can work with as many of our clients as possible for the outlined work.

This error is caused by a 3rd party anti-virus interrupting the scan or needing to update JavaScript on the computer. If caused by anti-virus:

  • If you are using a free version of 3rd party anti-virus, you can choose to uninstall the software. For information on uninstalling software, you can contact your computer’s manufacturer or follow the steps from this site: Uninstalling or removing apps and programs in Windows – Microsoft Support
  • If this is a paid version of 3rd party anti-virus and you elect to keep the software, please contact your anti-virus provider for support with allowing our PC scan to continue.

On your computer, you can go to Settings > Apps > Advanced app settings. For “Choose where to get apps”, you can choose “Anywhere”.

If the above option is not available for you, please type “winver” in the search on the taskbar and hit enter. In the pop up, see if it says S mode. If so, you will need to switch out of S mode to be able to download apps outside of the Store app. Please know that switching out of S mode is a one-way action. Once out, you cannot switch back.

Follow the information listed next to the failed item on your PC scan report to solve. You can view the PC scan report when logged in to the applicant Vyne portal.

Log into the applicant portal, Vyne, and go to the PC scan step. Click the “Download Again” button to download and run the scan again.

No, passing the tech scan does not mean you can work on ANY program. For example, if you have wireless internet (which we capture, but don’t pass/fail on), you can’t work on some programs.

Application Process

  1. Create a candidate profile.  5 minutes
    • We’ll ask you for some basic information including professional experience to determine if you have the right tools to work with us.
  2. Take assessments.  30 minutes
    • We’ll show you some typical scenarios and ask you a series of behavioral questions that will help us determine if your personality matches what we are looking for.
  3. Install and run PC scanner. 3 minutes
    • You will be prompted to download, install, and run a non-invasive scanner to verify if your technology meets our requirements.
  4. Select client programs. 3 minutes
    • View all open and “Coming Soon” contracts and select the client program you feel suits you best based on your experience, availability, and interest. If selected, we will conduct a video interview and background check.

You can complete the application and assessments from your mobile device; however, you cannot finish the process using a mobile device or tablet.

After submitting your info and completing the assessments, you will be required to download and run our PC scan application on the laptop or desktop you plan to use for work.

If you have started an application and need to switch devices to complete the PC scan, log into the Vyne applicant portal on the new device to continue. You will receive an email with your Agent ID needed to sign in after you begin your application and submit your profile.

No, there are no fees involved to join our network of customer care PROs (independent contractors). We will never ask you for banking/financial information during the application process.

No, you only need to apply once. Once you are part of our network of remote customer care PROs, you will be able to view all open and “coming soon” contracts and select the client program you feel suits you best based on your experience, availability, and interest. We do not allow contractors to have more than one candidate profile.

PRO candidates who qualify will be able to move forward to the next step in our application process, the PC scan. Once you complete the scan, you will be able to view all open and “Coming Soon” contracts and can select and complete the program-specific questions for the client program that interests you the most.

Once you submit the assessments, we will let you know if your results meet our requirements. If so, you will continue to the next step of the application process, the PC scan. If the results of your assessments do not meet our requirements, you will be notified at that time. Please note, you will only be able to take the assessments once.

Given the high volume of applications we receive, we do not allow candidates to retake the assessments. Please make sure you take the assessments in a distraction-free space and have plenty of time to complete them.

Once you complete the PC scan on our online portal, Vyne, you will be able to view all open and “coming soon” contracts. Select the client program that interests you the most and complete the program-specific questions. We will notify you by email if you are selected for the client program. Please make sure to complete the required fields to avoid any delays. For any “Coming Soon” contracts, we will notify you once they open for selection so you can complete the program-specific questions.

Once you are selected to work on a client program, you will go through virtual preparation to learn the client’s business and customers before starting to work. Instruction can take anywhere from two days to several weeks, depending on the client. There is no cost or fees for preparation; you may receive a monetary stipend for your time, providing you meet all the program requirements.

You will be notified by email with instructions on your next steps.

Once you have completed virtual preparation, PROs schedule their own work hours, and are responsible for them once set. PROs who consistently meet their commitments and perform well will be given priority when applying for new programs.

Working Solutions staff will assist with the installation and configuration of our client’s software. There are times when we are not able to do this successfully because of your computer’s status and we may require you to uninstall certain software. In some situations, we may require you to reset your computer and reinstall Windows new. Working Solutions cannot assist you with this process.

Education and Enterprise editions are not licensed for individual use (these licenses would be owned by a larger organization) and are therefore not suitable for independent contractor use.

Versions of Windows provided via the Windows Insider program are not considered stable versions of Windows and are therefore not suitable for production use. Support will only be provided on stable, main release versions of Windows.

An Ethernet connection to a cellular hotspot or fixed cellular modem is not acceptable. Even if a computer is “hardwired” via an Ethernet cable to this broadband modem, it is not acceptable.

To test your ISP connection speed, please complete the brief technical scan, which is part of our agent application. If your download speed fails to meet the minimum standard, contact your ISP (Internet service provider) to see what your optimal speed is and to determine if an upgrade is needed.

No. Due to the sensitivity of client software, systems, and connections, we cannot support wireless connectivity. During work hours, the wireless connection adapter should be turned off or disabled to ensure that all Internet traffic only goes through your wired connection. Please become familiar with the wireless adapter settings or physical on/off switches on your machine so you may make these changes as needed.

No: All connections to Working Solutions systems and client program systems must be directly through your internet service provider.
