While there are plenty of job scams around, job seekers can get some peace of mind—and maybe even offers—after reading this article, “Work From Home Guide: Legitimate work-at-home job opportunities,” posted on consumer expert Clark Howard’s website.

Cautions Howard, a recognized consumer expert: “… most work-at-home offers are scams. One stat that I’ve seen says that for every legitimate offer you may see, you’re going to come across 42 scams.”

To thwart job scammers, Howard’s piece names bona fide businesses, such as Working Solutions, which offers real contact center opportunities in consumer service, healthcare, retail and travel industries.

The story points out that it was included in FlexJobs’ 2019 Top 100 Companies with Remote Jobs. Recognized by FlexJobs for the past five years, Working Solutions placed #5 on the latest list.
