In for the Long Haul

Enit | Agent since 2001
Resource leader with eight years of experience in the communications industry.

Still a Perfect Fit after 15 years

Call it a leap of faith. With two years of business administration at a community college, Enit decided to work from home after being laid off from a children’s educational toy company, where she was a visual merchandiser.

Enit began researching at-home opportunities when she came across an ad for a Spanish translator. Fluent in Spanish, she saw this as a perfect opportunity—so perfect she couldn’t help but wonder if the job was legitimate. It was.

She then took the next step, acing all the tests required for the position. Soon, she got a call back from the Working Solutions contact who said, “If you want to work, we’ve got a job.”

The Real Thing

“I still didn’t believe it. It was too easy,” Enit said. But she decided to move forward and test the waters with a trial run. “They paid my first invoice for $36 within two weeks. And I said, ‘Wow, is this real?’”

She finally decided it was real and has been working as an agent since 2001.

Enit began doing data entry from day one and continues to do it today. She transcribes audio messages of customers who leave contact information and comments, entering them into the client’s system.

She primarily focuses on Spanish-speaking customers, but handles English-speaking customers as well. In the fall, Enit worked on healthcare enrollment for various companies and their employees.

Enjoys the Freedom

When asked what she likes most about Working Solutions, Enit said: “I like the flexibility. That I can work 24×7, whenever I want.” As a result, data entry can be done early in the morning or late at night, giving her time to pursue other things during the day.

In fact, the freedom enables her to work as a visual merchandiser for Lenox. In this role, which she’s had for 10 years, she sets up and maintains china displays at Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Along with her flexible schedule, she said she also “loves” her supervisor at Working Solutions. “He’s the best. I can call him about anything.”

Even with working two jobs, Enit finds time to serve her community. She and her husband, Steve, frequently volunteer at election polls. They both worked the polls during the 2016 presidential election.
