PRO Spotlight: How Michelle Stays Flexible, Focused, and Fulfilled
For Michelle, remote work with Working Solutions is more than just a job, it’s structure with freedom, routine with room to breathe. And after finding her groove supporting customers on a leading tax software program, she’s learned how to create a workday that actually works for her.

So what’s her secret?
“I love the flexibility, the lack of micromanaging, and the opportunity to earn and learn,” she shares. That autonomy is one of the biggest reasons Michelle has stayed with Working Solutions. It’s also what allows her to build a schedule that works not just for her job, but for her life.
Before her shift even starts, Michelle is already in the zone.
I go into my office about 45 minutes early, check for computer or program updates, then shut everything down for a quick restart. That helps me start fresh. Then I log into the necessary programs and check Slack for any messages from the team.
From there, she follows a structured flow—taking breaks she’s planned in advance, staying on top of resolution desk calls, and being present for every customer interaction. It’s not just about managing tasks; it’s about managing energy and expectations.
Michelle’s approach proves that working from home isn’t about taking it easy, it’s about taking ownership.
One big misunderstanding is that working remotely means you can multitask personal stuff. But this is real work. You have to treat it like a real job. You need to be able to focus, be on time, and hold yourself accountable.
That mindset came in handy when life threw a curveball.
“My youngest developed a knee issue that required physical therapy,” Michelle explains. “Because I control my own schedule, I was able to adjust things around her appointments.” That would’ve been so much harder in a traditional job.
And while her days are structured, they’re far from stagnant. Michelle’s role has evolved over time—from initial PRO calls to handling more complex issues at the Tier 2 Resolution Desk. It’s a path she carved by staying consistent and open to growth.
Her advice to new agents?
Breathe. It gets better.
“The longer you do something, the more confident you become.” Remote work can feel overwhelming at first, but once you find your rhythm, it gets smoother. Just give yourself time.
Michelle’s story is proof that remote success isn’t just about finding the perfect job, it’s about creating the right structure, setting clear boundaries, and showing up with purpose.
And for those considering contract work in customer service?
If you’ve got the background and the drive, this kind of work is a great fit. You really are your own boss—and there’s a lot of opportunity.
Three words Michelle uses to describe Working Solutions?
Convenient. Flexible. Opportunity.
We’d add one more: Inspiring. Thanks for sharing your story, Michelle!
